Best Bars in Downtown Miami

Downtown Miami is just north of Brickell and is inland from Miami Beach. It's primarily known as a business district with not a whole lot going on. Luckily, there is a selection of pretty good bars which allow you to take a break from the "typical Miami". NOTE: This list does not include venues which are primarily known for being a lounge or a club.

Here is a list of the Best Bars in Downtown Miami.

Address: 114 SW North River Drive, Miami, FL 33130

What's unique? They have food trucks and a few places to order drinks.

What's great? It's mostly outdoors and right on the Miami River.

What's not great? Barhopping is difficult. The Wharf has no other bars around.

What's unique? I consider this bar to be "anti Miami". It has no sparkle, no pizzazz, it's just a nice looking bar which closely resembles a New York or Boston style.

What's great? The different styles of seating and the grand piano.

What's not great? There's not much to note here.

Tip: It's the only place I've seen in Miami that has darts!

Neighborhood: Downtown

Address: 207 NE 1st Street, Miami, FL 33132

What's unique? It has very weird décor, but a fun vibe overall.

What's great? Drinks flowing.

What's not great? It can feel very dark inside.

Tip: Grab a booth, hang with friends, and control the jukebox.

Neighborhood: Downtown

Address: 151 E Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33131

$

What's unique? It's a small storefront which serves primarily as a top-notch eatery.

What's great? Cocktails and craft beer. Seating outdoors.

What's not great? Outdoor seating is on the sidewalk.

Tip: The jackfruit nachos are fire.

Neighborhood: Downtown

Address: 1035 N Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33136

$

What's unique? It's called The Corner because it's located on a corner.

What's great? Some of the best drinks in Miami.

What's not great? Dark atmosphere.

Tip: It's near E11EVEN, so it naturally receives a lot of overflow traffic. Check before you head there, it has been closed due to Covid-19.
